Careke rovî, hevala xwe leglegê ji bo şîvê dawetê malê kir, armanca rovî tenê xapandin bû ku heneke xwe bi leglegê bike.
Legleg di wextê xwe de bi îştehêke mezin hat mala rovî. Lê dema ku leglegê di nav sêniyek pehn de goştê nav avê dît hemû îşteha wê hat girtin û pir xemgîn bû. Ji ber ku bi nikle xwe yê dirêj û zirav nikaribû di nav senîkê de xwarinê bixwe, dema ku dixwar jî tenê dikaribû piçekî bixwe.

Piştî sê-çar roja legleg ji bo şîvê rovî dawet dike mala xwe. Rovî hat mala leglegê, leglegê şîv amade kiribû. Xwarin di nav senîyekê teng û dirêj de hatibû servîs kirin ji bo ku rovî nikaribe jê xwarinê bixwe.
Leglegê xwarina xwe baş xwar û ji niklê xwe ye dirêj re spas kir.

The fox and the Stork
Once a fox asked a stork to dinner, with the purpose of playing a trick on her. The stork came punctually at the appointed time with a good appetite.
But, to her disappointment, she found that the meal consisted of mince meat in broth, served up in a shallow dish. With her long, slender bill, she could pick up only very little of what was offered to her, while the fox lapped up his food with the greatest greed and asked slyly: '' Don't you find this meat excellent, madam?''.
The stork did not reply anything and went to home angry and hungry.
After a few days the stork returned the compliment by asking the fox to dinner.The fox came to the place of meeting where the stork had made her dinner ready. This time, however, everything was served up in a long-necked jar into which the fox couldn't thrust even his pointed muzzle. The stork on the contrary could eat very well from it thanks to her long bill.
'' I hope, sir, you have enjoyed the feast'' she said. And as the fox looked very sad and hungry, she added: '' Those who cannot take a joke in good part should never make one! Remember never to do to others what you would not like them to do to you!
